So, what’s with the Ingredients?

Argan Oil

We have written a lot about Argan oil here on our site and you don’t need a detailed explanation. However, let us learn more about how Argan oil can help with Acne breakouts. Do you also know Argan oil helps eliminate and lighten new and old scars and leaves your skin blemish-free?

Antioxidants: Argan oil is rich in antioxidants, which aids with cell oxidation and reduces skin issues. Besides, the antioxidant content comes from Vitamin E for most part, which helps balance skin oil secretion and keeps it grease-free. Besides, Vitamin E reduces skin inflammation triggered by acne.

Oleic Acid: It is a unique ingredient, which makes Argan oil the best! For dry skin, it promotes healthy oil secretion and retains skin hydration, whereas for oily skin, it curbs oil production and keeps skin balanced and oil-free! With sebum secretion being balanced, acne breakouts come down considerably.

Linoleic Acid: Argan oil is rich in Linoleic acid, which boosts healthy cell rejuvenation and renewal. It also effectively prevents clogging of pores, key reasons that help avert acne breakouts.

Lavender Essential Oil

Lavender oil is known for its calming properties and invigorating aroma. But do you know it is great for your skin?
Lavender oil has calming properties and used to accelerate healing cuts, abrasions and wounds. This means, it effectively helps with healing acne lesions.

Lavender oil is an anti-bacterial, yet very gentle when diluted appropriately and applied. That’s one reason why it works as a spot acne treatment.

Tea Tree Essential Oil

Tea tree oil is anti-bacterial, anti-viral and antifungal, making it an ideal spot acne treatment option. It destroys acne causing microbes and heals acne. Additionally, it also brings down the inflammation triggered by acne.

Many use tea tree oil directly to acne, though it can be quite harsh for sensitive skin, or trigger excessive drying of skin in a few individuals.

Lemongrass Essential Oil

With a pleasant citrus aroma, lemongrass is great for acne prone skin. It is a natural astringent, so does not dry out your skin while treating acne.
With natural anti-microbial and anti-bacterial qualities, it helps treat acne effectively and quickly.

Rosemary Essential Oil

Rosemary oil has several benefits and we have discussed about this wonderful oil earlier in our posts. Besides, it is an ingredient in our very own
Argan Body Oil for its skin benefits.

It has anti-fungal and antibacterial properties, hence heals acne by destroying the triggering bacteria. It does not leave your skin dry, but nourishes and heals it. It leaves your skin fresh and supple!

Clove Oil

Clove oil has many uses and can be a wonderful acne spot treatment option. However, clove oil can irritate the skin in most individuals and not suitable for direct application for those with sensitive skin. A good idea is to dilute it in carrier oil and apply it for acne.

We all know Argan oil is carrier oil. Adding clove oil makes the spot treatment mixture potent, though those with sensitive skin can skip it.

Clove oil has anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and antiseptic properties, which makes it an excellent acne spot treatment. Like tea tree oil, many use this as a spot treatment for acne, though it should be done with extreme care and caution!

The best part about this Argan oil Acne spot treatment is that, there are no scars left behind! You can use our Argan Body Oil or Body Lotion to prevent skin problems including acne.
