Usage

Massage the mask after cleansing your face and patting it dry. You can use this mild cleanser, we prepared earlier.

Massage in circular motion, leaving out the eyes and mouth for about five minutes.

Let it sit for about 10 – 15 minutes.

Wash off and pat dry.

Follow up with a moisturiser for restoring moisture and shine, especially if you have dry or sensitive skin.

Tweaking the Recipe

If you have sensitive skin, reduce the lemons and increase yogurt.

If you can’t use lemon juice, use potato juice instead.

Exfoliating Argan Oil Mask

Exfoliation is a very important part of skin care routine, since it helps eliminate dead cells and clean off dirt and grime from the skin surface. It also helps clear clogged pores and ensures your skin stays healthy.

Ingredients

Argan Oil – a few drops
Egg White – 1
Rock Salt – 2 Tsp.
Milk – 6 Tsps.

Method

In a mixing bowl, break open the egg and use a spatula to remove the yolk without any mess. You can also use the egg separator that’s out in the market currently, if you want to make things easier.

To the egg white, add milk and use a blender or whisker to beat it.

After beating it well, it should form a paste like consistency.

In a blender, coarsely grind the rock salt. Now, add the ground salt and argan oil.

Stir once and your mask is ready!

Usage

Cleanse your face and neck, pat dry.

Now, apply the mask evenly on your face and neck.

Massage the mask in circular motion with very less pressure. Salt can cause abrasions if you are too harsh!

After massaging for a few minutes gently, let it sit for a good 10 – 15 minutes and wash off.
