Why These Ingredients?

Argan Oil

We have discussed a lot about Argan Oil, our prime ingredient in all our products. It is one of best ingredients for your hair. It conditions, nourishes and hydrates your hair, without making it greasy. It also makes your hair more manageable.

Broccoli Seed Oil

Silicone is a very popular ingredient in conditioners to tame your curls and give a shining finish. However, it isn’t healthy to use it on a regular basis. There only one close natural alternative for it – Broccoli seed oil. If you want silicone effect, this is your best bet! It is light, rich in essential fatty acids with a silicone-like structure and adds luster and shine. It is rich in Retinol and does not clog your pores, unlike silicone.

Carrot Oil

This is an ingredient you can prepare at home, if you want to. Just shred a few carrots and seep in coconut oil. For 24 – 72 hours and strain it. Heat to remove any moisture and the infused oil is ready for use.

Another method is to wash and slice carrots (thin slices). Freeze it for a few minutes and then pat dry. Once fully dry, add to coconut oil, though you can also use sunflower or rosehip if you prefer. Leave it to seep in a dry and dark place for a few weeks and it is ready to use after straining. You can heat the oil in low temperature to remove moisture to improve shelf life of the recipe. It lasts for a year.

You can also grind the carrots and add the paste to the oil and bring it to a boil. Once the popping stops and the paste is fully dehydrated, you can strain the oil and use it.

Vitamin E Oil

It is used to treat several scalp disorders and hair loss. It improves hair health and enhances the structure and texture of your hair. It improves blood circulation in the scalp, thus promotes hair growth. It repairs hair and adds luster and shine. Besides, it is a preservative that will improve the shelf life of your conditioner. Since it is thick oil, add it according to your preference and requirement – less for oily hair and more for dry hair.

Tips to Tweak the Recipe

You can vary the quantity by increasing or decreasing the ingredients proportionately.

You can choose and swap ingredients based on your preference or requirement.

Essential oil is for fragrance, though they also offer great benefits. Choose essential oils that are good for your hair.

How to Use it?

Take a few drops of the conditioner and run into hair strands for making it more manageable and shiny. Don’t forget hair tips. Style as usual. Preferably apply this to dry hair.
