Usage

Soak in yourself and relax in this rejuvenating and invigorating rose bath soak.

Why Do This?

Sea Salt is extremely detoxifying. It helps detoxify and cleanse the body gently, while the essential oils add to the experience and help with de-stressing.

Don’t have a bath tub? No worries! Reduce the quantity of salt to ½ cup or one cup and appropriately reduce the essential oil ratios. Add it to a bucket of warm water and shower as usual! It will still be a refreshing, detoxifying and de-stressing shower.

Tweaking the Recipe

You can choose either the simple recipe with Lavender, or the slightly advanced Rose recipe for this purpose, or even come up with your own salt recipe using your favorite essential oils.

You can choose any salt you have available. Sea Salt works best, though Himalayan or Dead Sea Salts aren’t any behind!

You don’t need to buy bath salts are they’re costly and you would be able to prepare your favorite fragrances and blends, when you just buy Sea Salts and use essential oils! More often, bath salts aren’t what they claim to be. Preparing a salt soak yourself is an interesting DIY project and also, you can try out different blends till you determine what you love.

Notes

Since we add oils, the recipe will not dry out your skin, though you can apply a few drops of oil once you are out of shower!

Don’t use hot water, since it will reduce the efficacy and benefits of essential oils. Warm water is best as it does not dry out your skin, retains the benefits of the oils we add and also, helps with relaxation and de-stressing.

You can use our very own Argan Oil in this recipe for best results. Feel free to tweak the recipe by adding in a few herbs, or flowers, for added benefits and eye treat! As always, feed us back with your results. Stay tuned for more interesting DIY Argan Oil for Skin or Argan Oil for Hair recipes.
