Have you tried the Frizzy Hair Remedies we saw last time? Here are more options for you to try.

Lemon & Honey

Take 2 Tablespoons each of Honey and Lemon Juice and add a cup of Water to it. Now, massage your scalp with this mixture for two minutes and let it sit for 7 – 10 minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm water and shampoo as usual. You can do this once in two weeks. In case you have dark hair, this might lighten your hair a tad. And with regular use, it can cause lightening of your hair. I suggest you try other options if you have dark hair.

Apple Cider Vinegar

In a cup of Water, add a Tablespoon of ACV and rinse your hair with this mixture after washing your hair with shampoo. After a minute or two, rinse out and let your hair air-dry. You can do this once a week. ACV restores hair’s pH levels, closes cuticles that are open and also, helps your hair hold in moisture. It also leaves your hair clean and shiny.

Coconut Milk

Heat ¼ Cup of Coconut Milk (you can take less or more, depending on your hair length) and heat it up. When warm, apply to your hair and scalp and let it sit for half hour, before washing off. You can do this twice a week. It repairs damaged hair and leaves your hair smooth, shiny, soft and frizz-free!

Honey

To 2 Cups of Water, add 2 Tablespoons of Honey and pour this mixture on your hair. Let it sit for about half hour and then wash off. A humectant and moisturizer, this works particularly well if frizz is due to dry or damaged hair. It also restores hair’s lost luster and shine. You can use this once a week and if you want subtle highlights, twice a week. Honey lightens your hair. If you don’t want that to happen, check for other options.

Aloe Vera

In a mixing bowl, add 4 Tablespoons of Aloe Vera Gel and Avocado Oil. Mix and apply this to your hair and wash off after 30 minutes. You can use this mask twice a week. While any carrier oil works, I like Avocado Oil because it renders a nice silky and smooth texture to my hair and also gets rid of frizz effectively.

Hot Oil Massage

Do you know Hot Oil Massage is one of the most effective and ideal ways to deal with Frizz? They moisturize your hair and restore hair health, which means, your hair will be frizz-free. Depending on the oils you choose for massage, the frizz can be dealt with faster. For example: Argan Oil, Avocado Oil, Coconut Oil, Almond Oil and Olive Oil are considered best. I have had good results with Argan Oil, Coconut Oil and Avocado Oil. Alternatively, you can also prepare a blend using more than one of these oils and try.

Head Wrap

All you have to do is – take enough oil in a bowl and heat it in simmer. When the oil is warm to touch, but not very hot, remove from heat. Massage your hair and scalp with it and let it sit for at least 20 minutes. You can wrap your head with a damp and hot cloth, though if you have sinus or related conditions, skip using the damp towel. Wash off and air dry. You can do this twice a week. Basically, the oil penetrates the hair follicles and shafts, nourishing and conditioning them. A protective layer is formed on your hair shaft and moisture is locked in, leaving your hair smooth and frizz-free.

Honey & Yogurt

In a mixing bowl, add a spoon of Honey and 3 spoons of Yogurt. Mix and apply this to your hair and scalp. Wash off after 30 minutes with tepid water. You can do this once a week. It restores hair’s moisture and shine, leaving it soft and silky. As mentioned earlier, if you don’t want your hair to lighten, consider using other options instead of Honey.
