How does your face look like? Yep, looks radiant and fresh right? Want to know how?
Argan oil does not clog your pores and is not greasy. Hence, it is ideal for all skin types, including acne-prone skin. The essential fatty acids in Argan oil nourish and hydrate your face, while regulating serum production. We all know Argan oil helps reduce scars and prevent acne outbreaks.
We have all heard about Yogurt and how healthy it is for your body. It is equally good for your skin too and your skin loves it! Make sure to use plain yogurt without any additions, including sugar!
Yogurt is a great moisturizer, rich in proteins and zinc and gently lightens your scars and spots.
Nature’s best skin brightener and lightener, this Vitamin C rich ingredient ensures your face looks radiant.
As mentioned in the ingredients list, use raw and organic honey for best results. Processed and refined honey lacks most skin-friendly properties and laden with antibiotics! They probably do more harm than good, for skin or for your body!
Raw honey gently exfoliates the skin, retains moisture and also, promotes tissue regeneration. It also helps lighten scars and pigments on your face.
Blackberry & Blueberry
Rich in antioxidants, they nourish your skin. Also, the Vitamin C and other active ingredients leave your skin glowingly radiant by lightening the imperfect areas of your skin.
When you apply this mask, it is sure to leave your skin supple and happy.
Tweaking the Recipe
Most of the above given ingredients are suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin. Those with sensitive skin can skip or reduce lemon juice, though it is a key ingredient in this Radiance mask. However, you can increase the berries to make up for it at least partially.
It is a good idea to add orange peel powder, or orange juice, though it is not as potent as lemon juice. Still, it is a worthy alternative for those with sensitive skin.
You can also consider adding saffron, in case you can’t stand both lemon and orange. If you are planning to add saffron, heat about half spoon of water till it is warm. When warm, soak 3 – 4 saffron strands and crush with your fingers after a minute and add to the mask.
After the mask, you can consider using Rose Water as a toner. Besides, the smell is invigorating and also leaves your skin shinning.
You can use this mask as a quick fix solution while having to head out, or make it a regular mask for reducing acne outbreaks, scars and also, for curbing other skin problems.
Since lemon is sun-sensitizing agent, don’t step out right away. However, we use this mask more often for occasions, don’t we? In that case, don’t forget your sunscreen!
With so many benefits, what’s not to like about this mask? After all, it is quite simple and the ingredients are often readily available. Isn’t it? Do let us know how it helped you!
